Duranta

Duranta erecta

Reference Link →

A dense, arching shrub with clusters of small blue-violet flowers followed by golden-yellow berries. Popular as a flowering hedge and a reliable nectar source for butterflies and birds. The flowers draw bees and butterflies through much of the year, while the berries are readily eaten by garden birds, making this one of the more all-round useful shrubs for backyard biodiversity.
